I was blessed last night to hear my favorite pastor teach a bible study. Ken Graves is a pastor of a Calvary Chapel in Bangor, Maine... and though I have met his wife a few times I have never met nor heard him speak in person. I have tons of his messages on my Ipod, and listen to them often. I just love the way he delivers his studies... powerful, authoritative, serious, yelling... I walk away convicted yet encouraged every time. He is NOT ashamed, and it makes me not ashamed too.
There was a slight scene when we first got there because they made me go in the mother's room. I did NOT want to go in there. It's distracting.... bawling babies, talking mom's etc. Unfortunately it ruffled my feathers, and James' and Jeff's, but I think our attitudes adjusted after Ken started speaking.
I was sooo glad I went! Thanks Debbie for watching the kids!
This was obviously a powerful message as Jeff has not stopped talking about it...and it was very obvious he was "suppose" to be there...I am soo glad you encouraged everyone to go...The kids could not have been better and I enjoyed my time with them....Capri's little face as she talked and talked, haha, soooo excited about her Littlest Pets, and JD sitting frozen in front of me, holding up his little shirt so I could scratch his back, are things I won't be forgetting soon.
