Capri loves the book Pinkalicious. Grandma said that the next time we came over she could make cupcakes like just like pinkalicious. She talked about it all week long, and even wore her cupcake dress. So this weekend while at Grandma's house she got to make the cupcakes just like Pinkalicious, and she turned pink herself from eating them! ha ha She was sooo thrilled, it was perfect. Grandpa did VERY well choosing just the right ingredients to make them exactly like the ones in the book, and Grandma let Capri do everything and they came out just perfect. I was afraid she would think that she would literally turn pink... so I ran out and got my makeup and applied blush several times with my "pink finder" brush and she was pink. I love it when her little vivid imagination gets played out in real life, so I can join her world for just a few minutes. She's such a special little girl. Oh, and BONUS, Grandma gave her her own Pinkalicious book that doesn't have to go back to the library.. and Purplicious and Fancy Nancy as well. Thanks Grandma for a WONDERFUL day of reading, cupcakes and fun!

We also had a 10th anniversary/wedding vow renewal party for some friends of ours. It was really fun, we don't see our friends too often because of our schedules.. it's hard to find times when we all have off and also hard because we're all at different places in our life.. new babies, older kids, multiple kids, no kids etc. Here we are:

Today, we had church... and then I overate all day long... 3+ slices of pizza, chocolate, plates of spaghetti.... that's it, tomorrow I'm on the diet and exercise. I've been big for too long.
Your pics turned out really good. I'm glad you got some of her and me together. The look on Capri's face in that first one is priceless...haha She was sooo cute on the whole thing...we will definitely have to do some baking again sometime...as for you being the Stay Puff Marshmallow Woman, major easy....haha I am thinking VERY strongly still of doing the Jenny Craig thing today. I am at least going to go and talk to them about the possibility....Pray I make the right decision.....
