I did it!

I did it! I went to a store alone with all three kids! It only took me 4 months, but I did it! It went really well, course I bought more than I should have, but it was only the dollar store so it wasn't too bad. I wasn't worried about the girls, it was JD who was my unknown. But he stayed right with me. I didn't even threaten them, but I did tell them I would reward them for good behavior. I'm patting myself on the back today, for the trip out alone. However, I only managed one of my 3 daily goals... which was dinner. 

Tonight I had to run out to the grocery store (AGAIN) and while I was checking out the checker lady kept looking down at her feet, saying they hurt. I thought nothing of it, even when she said her feet were hot... which the bagger lady agreed, her feet were hot too. It was a bizarre conversation to have while buying food.... anyway - as I was walking to grab my bag out of the corner of my eye I noticed that the checker had taken her shoes off and was standing there BAREFOOT. I'm not weird about germs or anything, but I found a barefoot checker at a large chain grocery store sort of gross. I mean, you can't even go in the grocery store without shoes... no shoes, no shirt, no service right?
