i don't like you

First, no swimming this morning because James was gone and couldn't watch the kids. I actually missed it, sad I couldn't go. How's that? I've only been twice and I'm already sad when I miss it. That never happened in my younger years.  I'm holding on that this class is going to be soooo good for me. I feel it! Can't wait to go in the morning....

Second, here is what I hear coming over the monitor as I woke up this morning - " I don't like you" and then the other one says " I don't like you either". I of course quickly get out of bed and practically run upstairs to correct these two kids bent on being mean to each other so early in the morning. Much to my surprise, they were laying together under the covers, heads on the pillow, in Capri's bed... all nice and snuggly. I promptly explained that we don't say that to each other, because it's a lie... we are a family that loves each other blah blah blah blah.... they apologized to each other and then I kicked them out of Capri's room because Tella was still sleeping.

Thank goodness my mom got kicked out Jury duty today (ha ha that sounds funny!) because she is the sole caregiver for mom mom. We spent the day at her house swimming, playing outside, and most importantly NOT being at home. I think the kids still aren't 100% over whatever it is they have, but it went well enough. AND she made dinner for us so I didn't have to cook!!!!! What does one do without grandmas when you have 3 kids under 5? Go insane!

I think something is going on in Capri's little head, but I've yet to determine the situation. She's a thinker, and can be somewhat sensitive... I'm asking the Lord for insight into her little heart. Maybe you could pray for that too. More on that another time.

We might be going to Legoland tomorrow, and after checking the website, I think we will have so much fun. JD doesn't know legos yet, but it will still be good. I know they have pirate swords and ships there... scuffy needs a pirate sword!
