First, here is JD posing with the cupcakes he took into his class yesterday. His teacher remembered what a cupcake lover Capri is and made sure to save one for her. How sweet is that? Capri was thrilled!

Today begins the official preparation for JD's party tomorrow... I'm sure I'll stress myself out later, but for now I'm good.
One small bit of news, I called the doctor about Tella's barfing. He's out of the office, but I spoke to his nurse. More and more I'm sure that while she may have a dairy intolerance, she has reflux as well. The nurse said that Prevacid and the other reflux medicine (can't remember the name right now) won't help Tella because she's not in pain from the barfing. Those medications don't stop the reflux, they just make it less acidic - meaning less painful. So I still have no help or answers. I will talk to the doctor next week though about it. Meanwhile, I think I should start a savings account and accept donations for new clothes, carpet and carseats. Since ALL of those are constantly covered in barf!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a happier note, Tella has another tooth and she said "MA MA" this morning. She didn't mean to, and clearly doesn't know that's me.... but YAY!
How nice the teacher saved one for Capri..I am STILL laughing at Tella in the wig. It is hilarious for some reason. Like she knows she has it on...Poor Tella on the barfing. I am glad you are pursuing this. Like I said, I don't think it's diary or any food intolerence at all myself. (yet what do I know?) I think it is something to do with the way she is digesting (or not digesting) her food. Like something is immature or not functioning quite right. Joe did it too, BADLY, unfornately till he was about 18 mon. old. It was a nightmare. He ruined all his clothes cuz back then the formula he drank stained everything. He was on some kind of formula until he was 2. But you figure this was all 36 years ago. SURELY they can do something about this now...Capri's smile is adorable...what a sweetie she is and Grandma loves her....The party will be great...don't stress too much....dad & I are bringing Jeffie, Lindsey, Annabel, Diane, and John. My mom had her mouth worked on yesterday and now they are not coming. Donna was in the emergency room last night and I will tell that long story later, but they are not coming either. Danae has a long story I will tell you later, but neither is she. And Michelle is still not feeling well, though she is doing better, but they are not coming either. Soooo, I think that covers everyone. I am looking forward to it. I am leaving right not to get his gift....See ya tomorrow. ReplyDeleteJD looks darling with his cupcakes! My gosh, that wig is a roar! Capri looks adorable smiling. Danae's boys had reflux and she went thru a marathon. We had to give them meds before and after each feeding. Maybe she can give you some pointers.
