Today was Capri's first day of Pre-K, or Capri-K if you ask her. I'm a little nervous for her, I think that they require a little more of her than I thought.... but I'm sure she'll be just fine. Surprisingly, she gave us no problems getting going this morning, I think she was looking forward to it. Here's a glimpse of the morning:
Here are there buckets that they take to school, they're just a substitute for backpacks. I decorated them the night before and surprised them. They loved it!
She said she painted, colored, and looked at some books. She also traced numbers 1-5 and drew 2 apples, one red, and one green. I was quite pleased with that. How many 4 year olds do you know that when asked to draw an apple draws 2 different varieties? Genius!!! She mentioned to James that the boys in her class were being wild, but was quick to point out she was NOT wild and was being obedient to her teacher. Such a good girl!
She's happy to go again tomorrow. I'll have to talk to her teacher a few more times before I pass my approval.... she seems great though, really sweet and loving. Wish I could post more pics, but for some reason I can only post 5 at a time. So enjoy, and I'll post some of JD's first day tomorrow!
What a BIG girl...she looks soo adorable...I love her pose there..it's like ta da....haha The buckets came out quite cute. Does seem like she will learn alot. We have always known she was a genius...btw, it will only do 5 pics at a time, but you can just keep adding 5 more, 5 more, etc....I have done it indefinitely and it just keeps going....Looking forward to JD's....How was it with them both gone for a while?? Did Tella notice?? love you, mom ps, Capri-K is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteLarissa....she has an artsy side. I took a picture of the person she drew on my front porch. I'm gonna print it and keep to hang on my frig. I love it that she's artsy...we will have so much fun together...maybe she will take craft classes with me....oh the fun we will have.
