Ten on Tuesday

1. School starts 1 week from today. I realize that it will be good for Capri, I realize all moms are sad when their kids enter grade school. But that's just it, I'm not sad. I'm mad. I'm literally mad about it. I have my reasons. Fortunately, my husband sees the whole thing differently and can talk some sense into me.

2. Speaking of school - here is Capri's backpack and lunchbox, and her new "twinkle toes" shoes that she HAD to have. How cute are they?

3. I've gained near 10 pounds since the beginning of summer. Wow. I know, right? If I could only talk myself into exercising.

4. With my 30th birthday literally weeks away, and a nice party being planned for it, I've determined to shave off a few of those recently added pounds so I can wear this super cute dress & belt that I got in LA's fashion district. SO CUTE.

5. Last week when the heat was extreme and we were void of things to do, we built a tent in our living room. They loved it... I see many more tents in our future.

6. JD likes to clean. I actually bought him and Capri their own bottles of cleaner last time I was at Target so they could get their clean on without fighting over which cleaner they get to use. Here he is cleaning my tires with my dustpan brush. Whatever makes you happy buddy!

7. It's Pirate Fever around here as JD's birthday party quickly approaches. Even Tella's getting in on the preparations.

8. There is a sign over by my parents house that says "Your car is death". I know, I don't get it either. It's uncomfortable to read every time I drive by it, but recently its more annoying than anything else.

9. Tomorrow signals the beginning of the Fall Season for me. My ultimate favorite time of the year. Seriously. I've already got my fall candles burning, and I'm pulling out my decorations! YAY!!!!!!

10. Capri was watching Nemo the other day and there is a part where they are inducting Nemo into the "eternal bonds of tankhood" in the fish tank they are living in. Capri heard "eternal bonds" as "turtle buns". She looked over at me laughing saying "Turtle buns?? Whats a turtle buns??" I was laughing so hard!

Here's one last picture of Tella, sitting in Capri's carseat, wearing Capri's dress, with a huge fresh bruise right between her eyes. She bonked her face on my bed frame this morning. So sad.
