Daddy whipped up a made-from-scratch red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for our special valentine baby. Fantastic! And mommy did the decorating....not perfect, but I've never claimed to be a cake decorating genius.... I'll leave that to Kristi at Your Sugar Rush (yoursugarrush.blogspot.com)
Thanks Grandma's ~ both of you~ for everything you did to make Tell-Tell's party perfect! From the outfit, to the seating, to the location and decorations.... you Grandma's are the best around!

Oh my goodness, you got some REALLY cute pics, and I am soo impressed you already have them up. haha Tella was soo ADORABLE on the day. Such a sweet sweet baby...1 year old already, I can't believe it. Those cake pops were almost too good. I had a really hard time stopping at 2, and I should have only had 1! Do I remember you saying they were kind of a pain to make? Cuz I could see those becoming a regular thing, haha. And James's cake was REALLY good...1 bite of that was also soo hard. Tella eating her cake was hilarious. She loved it so. I have a pic where she just kind of dropped her head onto the cake. Soo funny...Looking forward to round 2 as well, haha....Wait till you see Kristi's cakes. ADORABLE....Tella's smash cake shouldn't really be touched, haha See ya soon, mom

ReplyDeleteI think your cake turned out marvelous! It's really cute, and red velvet and cream cheese, Yum-O! I made one for us for super bowl yesterday, it's def one of my favs! Thanks for the shout out too, if you enjoyed decorating the cake, I know a few places that offer classes. That's why I got into it, to make cakes for my kids and I guess I took it a little too far, lol! But they show you how to use all the tips and stuff. Looks like you already know what you are doing though, it turned out adorable! Happy Monday!
