1. Grandma sent Valentines!
2. We spent the week up in Big Bear. My little man just loves the snow, and he really loved the snow fort my dad built!

3. We went bowling at the bowling barn! JD loved it, Tella was amused, Capri was stressed. But I am pleased to say that a little talk regarding 'thinking about others rather than ourselves' helped out drastically and she finished the game!! And later was bragging and so proud that she did it.

4. My hubby returns tomorrow!
5. We got a surprise check in the mail! Hello new windshield for my car, hello getting my hair done. I need my hair done so bad. Like real bad. Really really bad. I need a new windshield for my car too... but that's not fun. No, that's not fun at all. Anyway, back to the hair.. light, dark, shorter, layers.... oh the possibilities!!
I kinda thought they "might" like chocolate, haha. I am soo glad you got to go to the mountains with your parents while Jim was gone. It would have been such a LONG week otherwise I am afriad. This not only helped the time to go quickly, but provided SUCH a fun time for you all. JD in his fort is adorable, and handsome? ummm yes no other word for it, and Tella matter of factly at the bowling alley is soo cute. And YAY on the check. That is downright exciting...Let me know when you are going to Jessie's and I'll meet ya. Just don't pick a Wed. or a Thursday afternoon as I have the kids. I am going this Tues. at noon, so it is probably too late for you. But "maybe" you could get an appointment somewhere during the same time and we could meet before noon for lunch. This probably is too far fetched for everything to fall into place but you never know. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Remind my "critter" to call me. I too am anxious to hear how it went. Love ya, mom
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty much the most awesome snow fort I've ever seen, I could spend hours in it and I'm 27!
Your comment on my blog made me laugh out loud. Something to think about, something to think about... ;)
Hi Larissa,
ReplyDeleteI am Kristi's mom and I am stalking your blog...not really if I announce myself it doesn't count as a stalk...right?
Your kids are so darling, they are all just gorgeous. This was a great post and that snow fort is very professional. Is your dad a builder or an engineer?
Hope you get to spend your check on your hair, yes it is more fun than a windshield. Enjoy your day.
Great snow fort! I've been wanting to go up to Big Bear lately, but I'd kinda like a childless trip! ;)
ReplyDeleteVERY impresssive snow fort! How fun to be playing in there with his penquins. I can just picture the feel of Capri on the bowing game. Jackie can get so intense on things sometimes. She always wants to be the best. Good news on being able to get your hair done. Mine has taken on a mild calico feel.
