A New Year

It's been over a year since I last posted. This Christmas, after seeing my MIL's printed blog books, I have decided blogging is the best way to document our year. At the moment it seems OVERWHELMING to take on ONE MORE THING. I've got a lot coming up in the next few months. Hopefully, I'll post at least once a week. We'll see.
In the meantime, here are some goals for 2012.

1. Incorporate more of the Bible into my kids (& my!) lives. We've started reading the Psalms together and a book called "Right Choices" every morning at breakfast. I feel good about the start I've got on this goal.

2. Excercise. Which I hate. Just absolutely hate it. But I feel like I need to. Every time I pick my son up I hurt my back. Now, he is 5, and shouldn't be picked up. Especially since he's over 60 pounds. But I'm young and feel like my back shouldn't be so easily hurt.

3. Organize my time. I'm way to laid back and go-with-the-flow(ish). I need to be more purposeful with my time.

So, there you have it. The beginning of a new year, complete with a blog. Now get the cheerleaders ready in case I want to quit on blogging again.
